How to Use
Grind the organic saffron threads using mortar and pestle. You can also add a pinch of coarse sugar for better abrasion. After you have reduced the saffron into a fine powder, dissolve the saffron in a small amount of hot water, about 2 tablespoons, to release the color and aroma. When dissolved, add to your food as desired.
Alternatively, steep full saffron stamen in hot water (between 160° F/71° C and 170°F/77°C) for about 15 minutes. After changing to a deep orange color, the liquid is ready to be added to your desired dish.
